LotVideo ("LotVideo", "we", "us", "our") is a service operated by FW Consulting Corp, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. LotVideo provides a guided vehicle walkaround recording tool for car dealerships. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: name and email you provide when signing in (including via Google Sign-In).
- Dealership data: dealership name and vehicle inventory you enter or import (VIN, stock number, make, model, year, etc.).
- Walkaround content: videos you record in the app and associated metadata (timestamps, step labels, vehicle reference).
- Google Drive data (only with your consent): when you connect Google Drive, we store an OAuth refresh token and the ID/name of the LotVideo folder we create on your behalf. We use the
drive.file scope, which means LotVideo can only see and manage files created by LotVideo — we cannot read or modify any other files in your Drive. - Technical data: basic logs (IP, browser, error reports) for security and reliability.
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the LotVideo service.
- Upload your walkaround videos to your own Google Drive at your request.
- Authenticate users and protect against abuse.
- Communicate service-related notices.
Google API Services User Data
LotVideo's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not allow humans to read it except (a) with your explicit consent, (b) for security/abuse investigations, or (c) when required by law.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers that host our infrastructure (Lovable Cloud, Cloudflare) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.
Data retention
- Account and dealership data: kept while your account is active.
- Walkaround videos in our system: retained only as long as needed to upload to your Drive, then removed.
- You can disconnect Google Drive at any time from Settings → Google Drive, which revokes our stored token.
Your choices and rights
- Disconnect Google Drive in Settings to revoke access.
- Revoke LotVideo at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and BC's PIPA, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing Frameworkconsulting.ca@gmail.com.
Security
We use TLS in transit, encrypted storage, and least-privilege access. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage strong, unique passwords.
Children
LotVideo is a business tool not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
